Hello!  My name is Kathy Carre. I am a “50 something” year old Grandma who is realizing a dream come true with the sale of my photography on HomeSav!!

First things first.  I have it all. My husband Mike adores me.  I see it in his eyes!  Our two exceptional  children;  Krista and Matthew are both married to fabulous people.  We have three precious grandchildren.  When those little arms reach out to hug, well  lets just say they have the power to melt!  I have always dreamed of having high chairs and booster seats around our dining table. We are all healthy. Family is everything. My biggest dream has already come true.

We live in Northern Ontario in the community of Espanola, right in the foothills of the beautiful Lacloche Mountains where the infamous Canadian Artists; the Group of Seven, enjoyed the same breathtaking views that we enjoy today.

I work at Sacred Heart School  as a Student Support Worker.  There is nothing like the heart of a child!  I love my work very much. It is a contract position and every summer I hope that I am renewed again in the Fall.  Being off during the summer months gives me the luxury of not having to worry about the time when I am out there with my camera early in the morning.

Mike and I live a full life. Between work, family, friends, gardening and  community theatre, there isn’t much time to mope. But I do take time to do what I love and that is getting out with my camera and surrounding myself with amazing beauty!

Photography has changed my vision.  It has enhanced my life in ways that are almost impossible to articulate.  Over the next few weeks I will attempt to do just that.

I hope you enjoy following my journey on HomeSav!
